RYTON'S REMEMBRANCE PREPARATIONS

With Remembrance Day on the 11th November, Ryton Towers have been doing lots of preparation ready for the day and because they couldn’t get to the cenotaph, they brought the cenotaph to us!

Our residents have been hand crafting all the poppies with a little help from our staff over the last week, which cascades all down our staircase!  It goes beautifully with the poppy dress designed by our residents and army outfit, along with the painting of ‘Lest We Forget’ also made by our residents. A special thank you to Davey Harrison our Joiner who hand crafted the cenotaph and Joanne Stewart our Activities Coordinator for organising, it all looks absolutely amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Visit our social media pages for more photos or why not pop in, have a coffee and take a look for yourself!
